Foodies, rejoice. 😋 A new food tour company is launching this March in Winter Haven, called Winter Haven Food Tours LLC. The local concept was launched by Polk County resident Amada Anderson (who doubles as the group tour guide).

Quoted: “We are thrilled to be the first to offer food tours for small groups to this award-winning city. The tours visit historical landmarks like the Gram Parson’s Derry Down, the Ritz Theatre, and even where the first Publix (now a restaurant!) was established all while sampling tasty treats brought to you by family-owned businesses.” – Amada Anderson

From brunch to happy hour, the scrumptious options will include:

🍳 Winter Haven Brunch Tour (Sat. + Sun., 9:30 a.m.) Early risers can enjoy brunch items from Winter haven’s local award-winning restaurants + end the day with a trip to the farmers market.

🍣 Afternoon Flavors of Winter Haven Walking Tour (Wed.-Sun. 1:30 p.m.) For all ages, this tour features a peaceful walk through Downtown Winter Haven, where participants can learn about local historical food culture + hear behind-the-scenes stories, all while chowing down on burgers, pizza, sushi + tacos.

🍻 Winter Haven Happy Hour Walking Tour (Wed., Thurs., Fri., 4:30 p.m.)Sip, sip, hooray. This after-hours tour takes you on a tasting trip to Winter Haven’s famous drinking establishments, like Grove Roots Brewery and Union Taproom.
