  • Top Buttons | 236 N. Kentucky Ave. | With three locations in Lakeland, Bartow, and Winter Haven, Top Buttons accepts donations during regular store hours (Mon.-Fri., 10 a.m.-6 p.m. + Sat., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.). All clothing donations must be either new or gently used items for women of all ages including shoes, handbags, scarves, belts, and jewelry.
  • Saint Anthony Thrift Shop | 820 Marcum Rd. | Saint Anthony Catholic Church is home to its own thrift shop location that accepts both gently used clothing as well as other household items. This thrift store operates solely on donations from the community and sells them at a low cost to support the church + school. Saint Anthony’s asks that all donations be dropped off by 2:55 p.m., Tues.-Sat.
  • First United Methodist’s Children’s Clothes Closet | 748 Walnut St.| The Children’s Clothes Closet at First United Methodist is an outreach program dating back to 1978 by United Methodist Women. Clothing donations at this spot benefit 2,000 infants annually. Items must be clean and can range in size from newborn to adult.
  • Peace River Center Thrift Shoppe | 2934 S. Florida Ave. | Peace River Center’s Thrift Shoppe accepts donations at their store, Mon.-Fri., from noon-5p.m. All donations will be available for the center’s qualified clients to shop via their voucher program. If you aren’t sure what to donate, you can check out their wish list here. This location is also the spot to donate other goods for Peace River’s additional programs.
  • Salvation Army Thrift Stores | 701 W. Lime St. + 3915 S. Florida Ave. | With two Lakeland locations, locals looking to donate their clothes can either drop off their items at the RP Funding Center Drop-Box or at the main store. Donations through the Salvation Army are then sold at their thrift stores, with all proceeds benefiting their adult rehabilitation centers.
  • Lighthouse Ministries | 3111 US Hwy 98 S. Ste. 130 | At Lighthouse Ministries’ thrift store, donors can submit TVs, miscellaneous household items, furniture, clothing, and more. To donate, visit Lighthouse Ministries’ store between 10 a.m.-4 p.m. + be sure to only donate from the “accepted donations” list.
  • Goodwill | 4945 US Highway 98 N. | Donations at Goodwill are accepted every day from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. + is practicing social distancing. Those looking to donate must drop all donations in the carts placed outside of the donation drop-off area during the allotted donation times.
