Rumor has it Posto 9’s building will soon be up for auction. While there is currently no news on the exact date, we’re already dreaming of what could come next.

What would you like to see open at 215 E Main St?

Before you answer that just yet, here’s a quick recap.

Why did Posto 9 close?

Opened in December 2016, by May of 2018 Posto 9 closed its doors.

After spending several millions renovating the downtown historic building, by September of 2017, Posto 9 filed under chapter 11. By May the restaurant was ordered by a federal bankruptcy judge to close immediately.

Rest assured, we will be certain to keep you up to date on the auction date when it is officially announced.

So what’s next for the prime and pristine downtown location?

Maybe a Trader Joe’s? Fresh Kitchen? Shake Shack? Apple? Apple Lakeland, anyone?
