Independent bookstore owners throughout Swan City are joining forces for the next installment in the Lakeland Book Crawl series. This year, the crawl will be abridged into three days: Thursday, April 24-Saturday, April 26. Keep reading to see how you can, well, keep reading.

Instead of getting discounts at a different bookseller each day of the crawl as in years past, you can find these deals at participating stores from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day:

Inklings Book Shoppe | 10% off and a free sticker with purchases

Bookends Used Books | 30% off your purchase, excluding classics

Pressed | Free coffee with the purchase of a new book

BookaReaderville | Buy two books, get one free

The Unbound Bookery | 20% off antique + vintage books

Crash Bookshop | 10% off new books

Little Bus Books | Instead of discounts, 50% of proceeds will go to Literacy Landing at Hope House.

Plan your route using this handy map with each bookshop’s location. Pro tip: Start your shopping spree at Bookends, where you can pick up a Book Crawl Passport and get it stamped at each store you visit.

Find Crash Bookshop at Somos Church to end the crawl with a bang.

The crawl culminates in the grand finale event at Crash Bookshop on Saturday, April 26 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Bookworms and store owners can mingle together over their love of reading, and local authors + book club hosts can apply to share with guests.

Remember those passports? Bring yours to the finale — the more stamps you have, the higher your chances of winning prizes, and those who visit all seven stores will get an exclusive completion prize.
