In celebration of Catapult’s fifth anniversary in Lakeland this month, the coworking space is hosting its first Lakeland Entrepreneur Awards (exclusively for Catapult members and already sold-out) to celebrate the notable accomplishments of our city’s entrepreneurs.

Presented alongside its sponsor Saddle Creek Logistics as well as speaker sponsor AgAmerica, this night of awards ushers in an exclusive speaking engagement to our city; featuring a front-runner who has paved the way for entrepreneurs, innovatives, and dreamers alike: keynote speaker Guy Kawasaki, Chief Evangelist of Canva (an online graphic design tool) and previous Chief Evangelist of Apple.

Kawasaki is also a brand ambassador for Mercedes-Benz and an executive fellow of the Haas School of Business (UC Berkeley), and the author of 13 books including “The Art of the Start 2.0,” “The Art of Social Media,” and “Enchantment.”

Catapult will also present four different awards during the event, Catapulter of the Year, Entrepreneur Champion, People’s Choice + Entrepreneur of the Year. See the final list of nomination here. Submitted by Catapult members in each category prior to the event, top nominations will be sent to a voting committee to select a winner. In addition, a People’s Choice Award – voted on by the people (aka you) – will be presented.

No doubt you’ve noticed the nominees’ names all brewing in recent months throughout the city. So, we want to know, who do you want to see win People’s Choice of the year?

Cast your vote on the name (listed below) you want to win here and follow Catapult (Facebook + Instagram) to see the winner selected at this year’s Lakeland Entrepreneur Awards.
