The Ryman Auditorium (often called the “Mother Church”) is a must-visit when you head to Nashville.

🗺️ Things to do

It’s no secret that one of the biggest tourism draws in Nashville is its rich country music history. Don’t miss visiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s 350,000-sqft space that traces the genre’s roots in Music City and beyond. You can also experience a concert at two of the city’s most prestigious venues: Ryman Auditorium (often called the “Mother Church”) and the Grand Ole Opry. Pro tip: You can even step inside the iconic circle yourself on a tour.

There’s an equal amount of exciting activities for the non-country music enthusiasts. Nashville is packed with loads to do, from hiking to farmers markets. Skylar and Dylan recommend a walk through Cheekwood’s 55-acre estate with cultivated gardens.

When it comes to cuisine in Nashville, you can’t go wrong with a classic fried chicken, like this one from Church and Union.

🍽️ Where to eat

When it comes to places to eat, Nashville has no shortage of options that are sure to impress. Skylar and Dylan recommend snagging a dinner reservation at Noko, voted Yelp’s “Best New Restaurant in the South,” and ending with an espresso martini nightcap at Le Loup in Germantown.

Honorable mention: City Editor Amelia loves the bright + colorful aesthetic of Graduate by Hilton Nashville. Plus, if you head to the roof, you’ll even find a larger-than-life bust of Dolly Parton, made entirely out of chicken wire.
