What’s your favorite part of traveling? Maybe it’s the food, new cultures, or sightseeing — but probably not trying to park at the airport.

We met the Tampa International Airport team to get their best travel hacks, and learned pre-booking parking online is the best way to guarantee parking and save money.

Bookmark these steps to save time + money on your next trip. If you’re a visual learner, check out our Reel.

  1. Book parking online as soon as you book your flight | Booking online is always cheaper, and the only way to guarantee a spot (especially during busy periods)
  2. Scan your QR code at the kiosk at your selected lot when you arrive | Pro tip: Take a photo of your row + section to easily find your car later
  3. Take a brief ride on the SkyConnect train from Economy, an elevator ride from Short Term, or quick walk from Long Term
  4. Arrive at the main terminal within minutes and head on your next adventure | Make sure to stop and visit Phoebe the flamingo
