Bee City USA? We think so
. In preparation of National Honey Bee Day (Sat., Aug. 17), we rounded up a few local places where you can buy honey around town – and a few just outside of Lakeland – all based on your recommendations. 🍯

Red Roof Farms

4515 Rushing Rd. | These beekeepers offer a variety of honey flavors, depending on the types of plants the bees have visited, making their honey 100% natural, just like the bees that bring it to them.

Bee-Haven Honey Farm, Inc.

9340 Hall Rd. | #ProTip: Try their honey stix in your tea. They come in flavors like sour blue raspberry, key lime + cinnamon.

Kelley’s Apiaries LLC

6709 Old Hwy 37 | For those days you need a little extra sweetness, you can buy up to a five-gallon pail of honey.

Struthers’ Honey

8023 Eucalyptus Rd., Lake Wales | Bee-lieve it or not, this local shop has been working off of an honor system since 1935.

Farmish Products

Various Locations | Two words: Turmeric. Honey. PS: Sometimes they even deliver.

Leighton’s Honey, Inc.

1203 W. Commerce Ave, Haines City | Founded in 1950, this local biz is best known for their pure Orange Blossom Honey.

Many of these honey aficionados can be found at the Lakeland Curbside Farmers Market (when it returns in September). Make sure to contact each vendor ahead of time for location, times + pricing.
