Okay, Lakelanders. We know you’re as excited as we are for the new GreenWise Market to open, so we’ll cut right to the chase.

In March, we told you about its location (across from Lake Miriam Square), its large footprint (25,000 sq. ft.), and what we hope to see there (fresh local produce, kombucha on tap, acai bowls, artisan sandwiches + craft beer flights, to name a few) – but now we get to tell you the health-focused market is planned to open in mid-December.

Florida is currently home to one other GreenWise Market, located in Tallahassee. A look inside this location is a good indicator of what we can expect to see in our GreenWise Market:

The “EATS” area serves up grab-and-go sandwiches + salads, plus hot foods like noodle bowls, burritos + pizza. 🤤

The “CARE” area is stocked with a range of health + beauty products from homeopathic remedies to shampoo, while the “FINDS” area has basically everything you need to entertain (or just have a fancy Friday night in). Think: specialty cheeses + meats for the perfect charcuterie board, and of course, wine to go with it all.🍷

Along with its selection of organic + sustainably-sourced ingredients, Tallahassee’s GreenWise Market features luxuries like a patio + lounge, espresso bar, kombucha + smoothies, an olive bar + more.

While we still have a bit of a wait for our GreenWise to open, it’s not too early to sign up for the rewards program. Want to stay in the loop on development updates? Click here to follow the market’s Facebook page. Warning: Their posts – like this one – might make you hungry at work.🍦
