The older we get, the more we know how much we don’t know. You know? We find ourselves asking questions like, “What does my local chamber of commerce actually do?” (No shame – learning is a good thing.)

Here’s the simplest way to put it: Raise your hand if you love local businesses. 🙋 We’re raising all of ours over here, and so are the folks at the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce.

The Lakeland Chamber is a not-for-profit organization focused on helping local businesses of all sizes in Lakeland succeed. They produce an extensive local business directory + community events calendar, host training programs on business topics like Quickbooks and recruiting employees, and advocate for business-related topics with the City and the State. When a local business invests in the Chamber, they gain access to exposure, contacts, marketing opportunities, professional development + more. See all benefits here.

(And the Chamber is legit + well-connected. I mean, Barack Obama follows them on Twitter.) Their staff has roots in Lakeland and are dedicated to supporting local business, plus convention + tourism – one of Lakeland’s top industries, along with manufacturing, distribution + healthcare.

Learn more about the Chamber and see their members (and some glowing testimonials) here, then follow them on Facebook, Twitter + Instagram to stay in the loop on what’s happening in Lakeland.
