Calling all local history buffs and supernatural super-fans. The Lakeland Public Library opened registration for the Stories and Stones Historic Cemetery Tour this weekend, and you don’t want to miss this.

Visit Roselawn Cemetery (713 N. Ingraham Ave.) on Sat., Oct. 15 from 9-10:15 a.m. for a free tour. Walk through the graves hearing stories about Lakeland residents of the past. You’ll also learn how to decode headstones and their iconography.

This event will occur once a month from October-March, with tours rotating between Roselawn, Lakeview, and Tiger Flowers Cemeteries. Register now — it would be a grave mistake to miss this.
