If you or a loved one is navigating the challenges of mental health, you don’t have to do it alone. At Lakeland Regional Health, Behavioral Health services are designed for real people, with real challenges — and real hope.

Whether you’re seeking help for depression, anxiety, substance use, or other challenges, LRH offers personalized, compassionate care right here in the community.

A healing space, a teaching hospital

At the heart of the program is the Harrell Family Center for Behavioral Wellness, a stunning 80,000-sqft teaching hospital that’s as healing as it is high-tech. With bright, open spaces and peaceful outdoor access, the facility reflects LRH’s commitment to whole-person care.

“We are training the next generation of leaders in our community to provide compassionate, personalized behavioral healthcare,” says Dr. Shirley Alleyne, Program Director for Psychiatry.

Meeting patients where they are

LRH’s Adult Psychiatry Services, Intensive Outpatient Program, Crisis & Inpatient Services, and Addiction Medicine programs meet patients where they are — literally and emotionally.

Dr. Lindsey Hastings-Spaine, an Addiction Medicine physician, shares: “Substance use and drug addiction is responsible for more deaths than any other preventable condition. My goal is to help patients achieve meaningful, sustainable recovery.”

An integrated model of whole-person care

Unlike stand-alone clinics, LRH’s behavioral health services are fully integrated across the system — from primary care to emergency services — so your care team is truly connected. Patients are seen in days, not weeks, and have access to in-person and telehealth options.

Compassionate experts, right here at home

Dr. Laverne D’Silva, a LRH psychiatrist, says it best: “Psychiatry has the power to change lives. I’m honored to walk alongside my patients on that journey.”

Because healing shouldn’t be a luxury — it should be local, personalized, and within reach. And at Lakeland Regional Health, it is.
