Depot 303 will open its doors this month at 303 NW 1st Ave. in downtown Mulberry, and we stopped by for an early look at the space. Let’s just say, the indecisive foodies out there are about to have a new comfort spot.
The food hall is a project of the City of Mulberry, who called upon Jonathan Bucklew — owner of The Joinery in Lakeland — to operate the business. The design and sleek indoor + outdoor seating areas will be familiar to Joinery regulars, but with its own flair that is sure to make it stand out in Mulberry.

Tilaw is bringing some new dishes, along with your Pinoy Cravings favorites like pancit + lumpia.

So, what’s on the menu? Depot 303 will start out with six vendors, plus a full bar:
- Tilaw | Asian-fusion stall from the team behind Pinoy Cravings
- Pizza Odyssey | The second location for this Lakeland shop known for slinging unique pies in the Lake Morton Deli
- Fat Maggie’s | A Swan City comfort food staple has found its new home
- Ling’s Dumplings | Dumplings, noodles, and boba tea also found at Tampa’s Armature Works
- King of the Coop | Hot chicken sandwiches, salads, and tenders
- Bottega Porchetta | A new concept coming soon from the chef behind Ichicoro Ramen in Tampa serving Italian beef sandwiches
Be one of the first to step inside the food hall and sample bites from some of the vendors at Depot 303’s soft opening, Saturday, April 5 + Sunday, April 6, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Pro tip: You may not see the location listed on your GPS app yet, so type in the address for directions and find a parking spot on the street.
Once you get a taste, come back for the grand opening on Friday, April 11 at 11 a.m. Bucklew says closing hours are still TBD depending on what the community wants, but you can count on Depot 303 opening every day at 11 a.m.
