In September of 2019, Catapult, along with the Lakeland Economic Development Council (LEDC), GiveWell Community Foundation + the City of Lakeland, will be opening up their new coworking space, Catapult 3.0.

This facility for entrepreneurs, startups + freelancers will offer countless new amenities ranging from a media room for photographers and videographers to a makerspace that will have 3D printers. Who would have thought Lakeland would be home to one of the most unique makerspaces in the US?

Catapult 3.0 will offer many of the same luxuries in their current space, but on a larger scale. The new coworking space will offer more seating for members and provide 13 conference rooms + classrooms for private meetings with clients or other members. If a more stationary position is needed, creators can rent out one of the 20 dedicated desks, or get a personal office.

One of the most unique features Catapult 3.0 will offer is its commissary kitchen. It will allow for multiple food-based businesses to work out of the kitchen at the same time. Businesses like Born & Bread started in the Catapult kitchen, so just think about the culinary magic that can be cooked up for Lakelanders with all of the up-to-date cooking + baking equipment at a maker’s fingertips. 😋

Catapult exists to serve the start-up community. They continue to expand + amaze us with what they are capable of providing. With the ability to produce prototypes, create media without having to leave the office, or make designs on the computer come to life with 3D printing, Catapult 3.0 will have it all.

Whether you’re interested in turning your ideas into a business or getting more involved with the Lakeland community, Catapult 2.0 is the place to start. Their website offers a full list of details regarding memberships, programs + success stories.

Sign up for a tour of their current space + to see all the exciting features that will be added to their community this coming year.
