It may be well past Small Business Saturday, but that’s no reason not to do your Christmas shopping locally. Lakeland businesses continue to raise the bar with products so minimal and tasteful they’re finding their way to the likes of the New York Post, such as Nacre (just featured in yesterday’s NY Post online.)

For those of you still stuck shopping for your loved ones, here are some local gift ideas.

🎁 The grandmother asking for “Peace on Earth”: A swan pillow from Scout & Tag

🎁 The hip LAL dad: Bump Galletta’s “LKLD” snapback hat

🎁 The starving artist: An Art Centric Mixed Media class

🎁 The sports-enthused brother-in-law: A Lakeland Magic jersey

🎁 The healthy-ish foodie: A Tea Largo gift card, for all the acai

🎁 The frugal, tired mom: A one-hour hot stone massage from Hand & Stone

🎁 The fashion forward sister: A versatile black jumpsuit from 5th & Hall

While it is our job to guide you this Christmas, we can’t help but find our minds wandering to our own wish lists. ‘Tis the season.

Jessica: Concord Coffee’s enamel logo pin to add to my denim jacket, a print from Twenty Seven, and (if we’re willing to dream a little) then maybe a bento bench from Seventeen20.

Kristin: A Nacre Lune watch. Their clean yet stunning style and gold mesh bands look something straight out of Vogue. And a print from Twenty Seven, because - quirky, nostalgic movies and… well, just take a look for yourself.

Emily: A few staple pieces from Rane Made, a classic mug or two from Concord Coffee, a handmade piece of K. Scott Jewelry + all the vintage I can find at The Shop Across the Street.

Kaylee: Ginger kombucha from Krazy Kombucha (because even as a non-kombucha drinker, this stuff is addictive), cheeky lapel pins, earrings, or prints from Red Swan Graphic Design + this snarky t-shirt from Frayed Knot.

Hopefully this guide will help you narrow down those last minute items. Although, after writing this piece, our team has just updated all of our Giftful wishlists.
