With 14,000+ aircraft operations, the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo has brought millions of aviation enthusiasts to Lakeland Linder International Airport (making it the busiest airport in the world, for one week) for 46 years, to celebrate the limitless of flight with one-of-a-kind planes, stunt shows, and a myriad of exhibits on flying + aviation history.
While this year’s expo may look a little different – it being virtual, and all – proceeds from the expo will benefit the Aerospace Center for Excellence. Without this annual event, SUN ‘n FUN has lost over 80% of its annual funding, placing many of its scholarships + STEM education programs on hold.
SUN ‘n FUN Home Edition 2020 is a developing project, so make sure to check back as they add in new elements + fill out the contact form if there’s something else you’d like to see.
