From a west Lakeland retreat to a south Lakeland entertainer’s paradise, take a step inside some of Swan City’s most luxurious listings.

City Editor Amelia here, and I’ll admit: I’m a bit of a real estate nerd. When I’m not out and about in Lakeland, you can probably find me curled up perusing homes on Zillow — don’t judge me, you know you’ve done it at least once.

Today, I’m sharing a bit of my scroll history featuring some of the highest-priced Lakeland listings I’ve come across.

South Lakeland waterfront estate

The exterior of a home's patio area is shown. It features a pool, two tables with ample seating, and plants. A pool cage covers the area.

Just imagine the get-togethers you could host in this outdoor space.

Entertainers have met their match with this home. As soon as I saw the spacious living + dining areas, I immediately pictured them filled with people à la “The Great Gatsby.” From the full tennis + basketball court to the pool, private dock on Scott Lake, and home theater, getting bored here is simply not an option.

This rendering shows just one idea of what this home could look like after its next owners unleash their creative vision.

Dream house loading — visionaries can put their unique stamp on this estate that’s one of only seven directly on Lake Hollingsworth. Architectural renderings for the space include room for a home gym, gaming area, primary suite with private balcony, and even the potential to add a pool. BRB, summoning my inner Joanna Gaines.

Peaceful west Lakeland retreat

A lush green field with two fenced in riding areas, one rectangular and one circular, with a barn and trees in the background.

Not only does this home come with beautiful features inside, but it also comes equipped with a six-stall horse barn and two fenced in riding areas.

Imagine driving up to this farmhouse surrounded by trees after a bustling day downtown — I can feel myself relaxing already. Oh, and did I mention it also has its own horse barn and sits on ~14 acres? If you want a taste of classic country living while still being within driving distance of your favorite shops + restaurants, this is the spot for you.
