Publix Serves Day is happening tomorrow

Tomorrow, Tuesday, April 2, is Publix Super Markets’ annual Publix Serves Day. More than 6,000 volunteers will participate in 150+ projects throughout Publix’s operational footprint – across Florida, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina + Virginia.

Publix Founder, George Jenkins, instilled a culture of giving back to the communities the company serves – and although Publix associates volunteer throughout the year, Publix Serves Day is the company’s single largest day of coordinated volunteer efforts.

Publix associates will be doing all types of work for nonprofits, like:


    • laying sod 🌱
    • painting 🎨
    • pressure washing 🧼
    • beach cleanups 🏖
    • building playgrounds ⚽
    • distributing food 🍉
    • …and the list goes on + on.
