Polk Pride FL is back this fall in Lakeland

Coming this fall: Polk Pride 2021.

After last year’s cancellation, Polk Pride will take place this year on Sept. 25-Oct. 2 with a multitude of events and celebrations happening all across town. If you want to attend this year, here’s what you can expect:

🌈 Polk Pride Kickoff | The date, location, and time of this kickoff event are to be determined, but what isn’t up for debate is the excitement coming with the first official event of the celebration to get things rolling and get Polk residents excited.

🌈 Pride for Youth | Wed., Sept. 29 | 6:30 p.m. | Skate World Lakeland, 911 N. Lake Parker Ave. | In collaboration with Lakeland Youth Alliance, Pride for Youth centers around celebrating pride for individuals ages 13-20 during this skating event.

🌈 Pride in Faith | Thurs., Sept. 30 | 7 p.m. | Beacon Hill Fellowship, 220 W. Beacon Rd. | Hear from local faith-based leaders standing alongside the LGBTQIA community during this interfaith celebration of pride.

🌈 Pride in the Park | Sat., Oct. 2 | 10 a.m.-3 p.m. | Munn Park | Celebrate all day with Polk Pride’s main event happening in Downtown Lakeland. The whole family can enjoy music, food, entertainment, and access to community resources.

🌈 Pride After Dark | Sat., Oct. 2 | 9 p.m.-2 a.m. | The Parrot Bar & Nightclub, 1030 E. Main St. | Come on out for this 21+ event featuring music, food, drink, and drag in Polk Pride’s send-off party.
