Attending at least one car show is basically a rite of passage as a Lakelander. This year’s MIDFLORIDA Auto Show & Lake Mirror Concours is happening October 18-20 in downtown Lakeland – and it’s the special 20th anniversary of the free annual car show, presented by MIDFLORIDA Credit Union.

If you haven’t been before, the show exhibits hundreds of hobby and collector vehicles over the course of three days in downtown Lakeland, drawing 35,000+ spectators and top car collectors from the Southeast.

And while all of these vintage and souped-up automobiles are pretty fun to look at, there are lots of *other* things to do, like hitting up Friday night’s Budweiser Hot Rod Rendezvous, benefitting Boys & Girls Clubs of Polk County, Sunday morning’s Road Rally, or all of the food trucks on-site Saturday.

See the three-day event overview here, and a more detailed schedule here. Event FAQs here.

But for the die-hard car fanatics: We have a fun poll for you.

If you had a million dollars to spend, which (super fancy) 2019 MIDFLORIDA Auto Show Featured Car would you buy? 🔥

  • 1964 Austin-Healey Sebring Sprite: red vintage car that’s traveled only 799.5 miles since production; retains all factory paperwork, original Dunlop racing tires + Healey Magnesium racing wheels
  • Pagani Huayra: silver mid-engine Italian sports car with butterfly doors that’s worth >$1.5M; top speed of ~238 mph; 0-60 mph acceleration time of 2.8 seconds

Vote: Which car is the most 🔥?
