A Halloween pumpkin carving + costume contest at LALtoday

LAL-Pumpkin-Hero-01

‘It’s a BOOtiful morning… AHHHHHH!’ Today marks t-minus 13 (unlucky?) days until Halloween. And keeping in the spooky spirit, we here at LALtoday are hosting two creepy contests – encouraging all craft carvers to send in photos of their cleaved jack-o-lanterns and for every boy + ghoul to let us see their haunting guises for Halloween night.

Here are the devilish details:

  • Photos can be submitted via social using our tag #LALtoday, or by sending to us directly.
  • Creative carvings need to be sent in by the witching hour on Oct. 29.
  • Ghoulish garb need to be sent in by noon, Nov. 1.

The top four terrifying (bOOtiful, creepy cute...) jack-o-lanterns and costumes will be voted on by YOU for all the howling rights.

To help get you in the macabre mood, you will find a spooky stencil below for your prized pumpkin. And here you can find a few of our previous costume champions for eerie inspiration. Happy haunting.
