Calling all outdoor adventure enthusiasts: A new water attraction is coming to Lakeland’s Crago Recreation Complex. Beginning in April, the City of Lakeland will start offering eco kayak tours through Lakes Parker + Crago.

Here’s what kayakers can expect to see and learn about during their tour:

  • Florida wildlife in its natural habitat (think: birds, snakes, and alligators)
  • Aquatic plants and how they help maintain good water quality

The tours will be led by the City’s Lake + Stormwater and Parks + Rec staff members. We don’t have an exact date yet, but according to City staff, eco kayak tours will be open for pre-registration very soon.
