Alright, so we all know what it’s like. We want to go out, buy a few drinks and have fun with our friends, right? Only it’s getting towards the end of the month, the paycheck is dwindling, and when it comes to food and entertainment, it’s becoming an either/or situation. So if you’re a college kid who, like me, wants to have a nice night out while also being able to eat on a fairly regular schedule, here are some of the best drink specials in Lakeland. Monday: - Half-price on all wines purchased by the bottle at Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grill. - 2-for-1 drinks at the Hookah Palace. - Natalie’s Bar and Grill has Double M Mondays--$2.50 house margaritas and $5 martinis - $7 all you can drink special at Sharky’s from 9-12:45 a.m. Tuesday: - Fat Tuesday at Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grill, with half-price happy hour all day. Domestic drafts are $1.65, import drafts are $2.15, house wine is $3.00 and liquor drinks are $3.00-$4.00. - Pool Hall Tuesday at Boots N Buckles, 2-for-1 until 2 a.m. - $10 all you can drink at the Hookah Palace - Taco Tuesday at the Red Door Wine Market tacos and beer or wine for $13. - Two for Tuesday at Natalie’s, 2-for-1 wells, calls, drafts and house wines - League Night at Sharky’s, 2-for-1 all night. Wednesday: - Nickel beers at Boots N Buckles. - $1 dollar drafts and ladies drink free until 1 a.m. at the Socialite - Halfprice on speciality drinks at Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grill - 99¢ draft beers at the Hookah Palace - Ladies Night at Sharky’s--ladies drink and play pool for free until midnight Thursday: - College night at the Socialite with $1 well drinks and drafts until 1 a.m. - The Socialite also has Happy Hour from 4-8 p.m., with half-priced cocktails and $2 bottled beers. - Boots N Buckles has Ladies Night women drink free from 9-12 a.m. - Free Hookah for ladies with the purchase of a drink at the Hookah Palace. - Thirsty Thursday at the Red Door wine or beer with pub classics for $13. - Bucket of domestic beer for $10 at Natalie’s -College night at Sharky’s with $1 drafts and $7 liquor buckets Friday: - The Socialite has Happy Hour from 4-8 p.m., with half-priced cocktails and $2 bottled beers and drafts. - Boots N Buckles has an All You Can Drink bottled beer for $10 from 8-11 p.m. - $6 pitchers at Natalie’s Saturday: - The Socialite has $7 dollar liquor buckets, and wine and martinis are $5. The Socialite Happy Hour is from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, with the same specials (half-priced cocktails and $2 bottled beers and drafts) Sunday: Stop drinking, it’s the Lord’s day (and there aren’t any specials that I know of). Other: - Ladies with a group of 6 or more receive a complimentary bottle of champagne at the Socialite any day of the week. - If you text Linksters5 to 30364, Linksters will send you a text for 2-for-1 drinks once a week. The coupon must be used the day it is sent, which can be any day Monday-Thursday. - DC’s Sports Bar has Happy Hour every day from 4-7 p.m. - Chili‘s has Happy Hour all day every day. - If you go to the Hookah Palace on your birthday, you get a free hookah or a free dessert.
