Every dog owner wants the best for their furry friend, so why not bring them along on your Lakeland adventures? It’s much better than sitting at home all day in a crate, waiting with nothing more than a bone and bowl of water, anticipating for the moment they get to pounce on mom or dad after a long day.

This coming Sunday is National Dog Day + in case you didn’t know already, Lakeland is considered one of the most dog-friendly cities in the nation. (Thank you, National Geographic. You know your dog-lovers so well.) 🐕

To make sure your pup is enjoying dog-friendly Lakeland as much as they can, we compiled a list of 7 (p)awesome locations (with a little help from @dogmomsoflkld) that are pet-friendly + guaranteed to make your cute canine fall head over paws. 🐾
