A new restaurant concept is in the works from Jeremy Brumley, the owner of LoveBird Almost Famous Chicken . Brumley shared with us that he’s in the early planning stages of an eatery at 801 E. Main St., the former site of Unfiltered Lakeland and the Poor Porker.

We’ll have to wait to hear what will be on the menu at the currently unnamed restaurant, but guests may be able to enjoy outdoor dining. The concept is expected to open toward the end of this year.

That’s not all Brumley has on his plate. Progress is also coming along at LoveBird’s second location in Winter Haven, which is slated to open this summer. Until then, you’ll find us ordering hot chicken sandwiches at the Lakeland location, which is celebrating its third anniversary on Sunday, April 28.
