To help you keep your cool when you fly this summer, Orlando International Airport (MCO) has six tips to make your airport experience easy + stress-free.

Download the MCO App.

To simplify your travel experience, MCO recommends downloading the MCO app (available for both Apple and Android). It shows everything you need to know, including security line wait times, parking options, gate changes + departure times. Bonus: It’s free.

Try MCO Reserve.

Feeling anxious about getting through security for your next flight? MCO Reserve, powered by CLEAR, is a complimentary service that allows travelers to reserve a time slot to go through security (starting 72 hours before the flight). Travelers simply show up at that time and go through an exclusive lane.

Consider signing up for TSA Pre-Check.

This 5-year membership expedites the security screening process by allowing travelers to keep on their shoes, jackets + belts, and to leave their laptops in their bags.

For those that travel internationally, consider Global Entry. This service provides expedited customs + immigration clearance in addition to TSA PreCheck benefits.

Get to the airport early.

Don’t let the unexpected add stress to your travel plans. MCO recommends arriving four hours prior to an international departure and three hours prior to a domestic flight. (Read: Your dad was probably right, we do need to get there early.)

Try parking in Garage C.

Not only is it cheaper (~$2/day less), it’s also got great views of Orlando. | Photo provided by Orlando International Airport

Save yourself some time (and money) by parking in Parking Garage C, the recently reopened garage located two miles south of the airport. It’s only a four-minute train ride to the terminal + costs $2 less per day than garages A and B.

Follow MCO on social media for updates.

Get the latest news and updates about the airport on Facebook, Instagram + Twitter.
