When it comes to Lakeland’s shopping scene, we love a good treasure hunt — and a good bargain. Our city is home to several fantastic flea markets, cool consignment stores, fabulous vintage shops, and resale gems. So get in, we’re going shopping.
Flea markets
Lakeland Mi Pueblo Flea Market, 2701 Swindell Rd.
Around 500 vendors sell produce, livestock, clothing, and gardening tools year-round at this indoor/outdoor market. Visit on Saturdays, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., and Sundays, 5:30 a.m.-4 p.m. On-site parking is $2.
Silver Moon Swap Shop, 4100 New Tampa Hwy.
The grounds of the drive-in theater become the site of a swap shop every Saturday and Sunday. Gates open early at 5 a.m., and it usually lasts until 12 p.m. Entrance is free for shoppers. If you want to sell your wares, there’s a $10 fee on Saturdays and a $20 fee on Sundays.

Lakeland Antique Mall, 3530 US Hwy. 98 N.
Plan a few hours to get through this 44,000-sqft warehouse. It’s packed with antiques and vintage Disney memorabilia.
Low Country Vintage, 913 S. Florida Ave.
You may recognize this Dixieland store as the site of this crape myrtle mural. Follow the store on Facebook for a first look at new pieces as soon as they hit the shelves.
Lloyd’s Antiques, 301 N. Kentucky Ave.
No trip to the Lakeland Downtown Farmers Market is complete without a trip inside Lloyd’s. We love its collection of vintage Lakeland postcards. Pro tip: Head upstairs to visit the resident parrot while you shop.
Southern Gentlemen Antiques & More, 923 S. Florida Ave.
Shop here for antiques and handmade home goods for every season. Pro tip: It’s right next to Low Country Vintage and 360 Unlimited, so you can knock out three stores in one trip.
The Shop Across the Street, 110 W. Highland St.
This small shop is packed with big bargains in every nook and cranny. Keep an eye out for the colorful mural on the back wall by local artist Jenna O’Brien.
Thom Downs’ Antiques Inc., 235 N. Florida Ave.
Check this downtown store for high-end antiques at affordable prices. You might be sensing a theme by now: Outside is an eye-catching mural by artist Gabriela Jaxon.
Vintage Warehouse Lakeland, 4308 Wallace Rd.
Shop here for limited stock furniture, gifts, holiday decor, and fashion. You can even shop online and have your order shipped to your home.

Pro tip: Check the “More Store” section in the back for both new and gently used home items.
Lighthouse Ministries Thrift Store, 3111 US Hwy. 98 S., Ste. 130
Proceeds from sales made here help fund a resident intern program for Lakelanders in need.
Peace River Center Thrift Shoppe, 2934 S. Florida Ave.
This thrift shop raises around $50,000 per year for Peace River Center’s clients and domestic violence survivors.

Need to get a car off your hands? The Salvation Army accepts vehicle donations, as well as clothing and home item donations.
