The holiday season brings joy, but it can also bring accidents and illnesses. From minor burns while baking cookies and decorating mishaps to other common holiday injuries and the inevitable cold and flu, Lakeland Regional Health’s urgent care centers are ready to help.
With three convenient locations, expert providers, and a new clinic opening in December, LRH makes it easy to get care when it’s needed most.
🏥 Why choose Urgent Care?
“Urgent care is a convenient place to be seen for minor illnesses and injuries. We’re here to offer quick relief — no appointment needed,” David Remmer, MD said.
It’s designed for non-emergency concerns, such as:
Cold and flu symptoms
Sprains, strains, and minor injuries
Sinus infections and seasonal allergies
Minor burns and cuts
Diagnostic testing for respiratory illnesses
🏥 What to know before you go
Walk-in care: No appointment needed
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday-Sunday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All locations care for patients ages 2 and up.
🏥 More than just urgent care
LRH urgent care offers more than just immediate care — it’s the first step toward long-term health. Patients can easily connect with a primary care provider and have access to a variety of on-site services available during the week.
PCP referrals: Establish a relationship with a primary care provider during your visit to gain access to LRH’s comprehensive network of specialists. Psst... There are options for what kind of primary care provider you can see.
On-site services: Sports physicals, X-rays, lab services, and diagnostic tests are available on weekdays.
📍 More locations coming soon
On Dec. 9, Lakeland Regional Health will open a new Urgent Care center, Lake Gibson (930 Marcum Rd.), expanding Swan City’s access to fast, reliable care across the region — and even more urgent care locations are coming soon.
