Welcome Canary, 1030 Browning Rd.
Wellness is the name of the game at this community that opened earlier this spring. Start a sweat session in the biophilic gym, relax by the resort-style pool, or get your hands dirty in the community garden. You’ll find Welcome Canary in west Lakeland near many big players in the logistics industry.
Prospect Lake Wire’s units will include 9-ft ceilings, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances.

Move-ins will begin later this summer at Prospect Lake Wire’s mixed-use development. Expect units ranging from $1,550 studios to $2,350 three-bedroom apartments, plus amenities like a pool, outdoor kitchen, dog park + spa, and remote workspaces. It’s also one of the first developments in the Downtown West redevelopment area.
This complex is designed according to the East Lake Morton historic district’s guidelines.

Downtown Lakeland’s newest complex combines modern finishes with an exterior designed to match the surrounding historic district. With a mix of one- to two-bedroom apartments and townhomes, this community is within walking distance of fan favorite eateries + entertainment. Units range from $1,596 to $2,395 per month.
Parker Pointe, 900 E. Bella Vista St.

Talbot House Ministries will expand after purchasing the former Salvation Army shelter in Winter Haven. After renovations are finished, the shelter will include space for up to 82 women + children, a food pantry, and a future playground. (The Ledger)

IDEA Public Schools’ Lakeland location is nearing the end of construction before its opening this fall. The school is now seeking K-6 students and teachers to join in August — apply at any time. (WTSP)
