🚽 Show some love to local lavatories

Restrooms. Whether they have eye-catching decor, impeccable selfie lighting, or personal touches that add comfort, we think that they can complete your experience when they’re done right.

Turns out, we’re not alone. Cintas holds the annual “America’s Best Restroom” competition, crowning the most innovative throne each year — just scroll through the hall of fame. While Tampa International Airport brought the award home to Central Florida in 2022, a Lakeland biz has never gotten the honor.

So, let’s hand out awards of our own. Which public restroom in Lakeland is the best? Share your powder room picks.

You’ll find The Joinery’s minimalist vibe in its bathrooms as well.

We’ll go first. The Peach House goes all in on pink decor in its restrooms. We love the tropical palm tree wallpaper as a backdrop for a quick fit check in the mirror.

Over at The Joinery, you’ll find huge citrus prints, wood accents, and private stalls — “vacant” and “occupied” signs on the doors make all the difference.
