Spring

The Detroit Tigers have held Spring Training in Lakeland for decades, and 2026 will be no exception. Catch them Saturday, Feb. 21-Tuesday, March 24, with home games happening at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Did you know that the SUN ‘n FUN Aerospace Expo is the biggest annual convention in Florida? Catch aviation fun for the whole family Tuesday, April 14-Sunday, April 19.

Summer

Mayfaire by-the-Lake fine art festival takes place around Lake Morton every Mother’s Day weekend. It’s free to visit Saturday, May 9 + Sunday, May 10.

The City of Lakeland’s Independence Day celebration, Red, White & Kaboom, happens each year on July 3. Head to Lake Mirror for live entertainment and dazzling fireworks.

Winter

You can already mark the first Thursday of December on your calendar, too — that’s when the Lakeland Christmas Parade takes place downtown.
