The contest starts with preliminaries on Wednesday, June 25, leading up to the finals on Friday, June 27. Watch in person to see who will represent the Sunshine State at Miss America, or just keep an eye out for extra crowns around town.

Mulberry’s former Kingsford Elementary School will be transformed into a McKeel Academy charter school by the fall of 2026. It will be McKeel’s first location outside of Lakeland, with room for 414 students from kindergarten to sixth grade. (The Ledger)
