Watson Clinic to open new orthopaedic clinic this month

McKeel Academy unveiled its new baseball and softball fields as part of a ~$5 million project to revamp the school’s sports facilities. Changes include a new concession stand + an ambient lighting system that will allow for night play without disturbing neighbors. (The Ledger)

Peach Cobbler Factory Lakeland (5261 US Hwy. 98 S., Ste. 8C) will celebrate its grand opening tomorrow, March 2, from 12 to 4 p.m. The first 50 people in line will receive a free 4-ounce sample cup of banana pudding or cobbler.

In case you missed it, local breakfast spot Biscuits and Benedicts announced that it is closing its doors due to a medical issue. In the Facebook announcement, the business thanked its patrons and asked anyone looking to purchase a restaurant to reach out ASAP.
