Lakeland Family YMCA to undergo $21 million renovation
The Bob Adams Family Community YMCA is coming soon. | Rendering via Lakeland Family YMCA
Lakeland city commissioners unanimously approved the Lakeland Family YMCA’s plans for a $21 million renovation project.
The facilities at 3620 Cleveland Heights Blvd. will undergo renovations over the next four years, focusing on five “key components.” Once complete, the YMCA will henceforth be called the Bob Adams Family Community YMCA.
It’s estimated that by 2027, the facility’s new wellness complex, field house, childcare building, infrastructure improvements, and increased parking will be complete.
I’m not exaggerating when I say my beach trips changed forever when I bought my own beach tent — who has time to search for shade, anyway? This boho pop-up cabana is on my wishlist.
